Product Description

Looking for a compact stereo system with slamming low-end authority? Look no further. Whether JVC's HX-Z30 can really be called "compact" may open to debate, but rest assured that the system houses a five-disc super-slim magazine changer, a dual-well, full-logic cassette deck, an FM/AM tuner with 45 presets (30 FM, 15 AM), as well as 80 watts per channel for the speakers and a rafter-rattling 190 watts per channel for the system's two large-diaphragm subwoofers.

The speakers are in many ways the focal point of the HX-Z30. Each speaker is outfitted with a 5.75-inch cone woofer, a two-inch cone tweeter, and an additional 7.875-inch cone subwoofer with six-layer voice coils for extra efficiency. The subwoofers even get their own separate, three-position level control.

The CD player offers play exchange, letting you swap two discs while the third plays, and 99-track programming for extended and custom-sequenced music listening sessions. A single-bit digital-to-analog converter delivers your music with clarity and punch. CD synchro-start recording makes copying discs to cassette a cinch. Three preset and three custom equalizer curves and four simulated surround sound settings (dance/club/hall/stadium) grant flexibility in tailoring the system's sound to your musical preferences.

What's in the Box
Main unit, two speakers (each with two attached eight-foot speaker wires), a wireless remote control, two AA remote batteries, FM wire antenna, AM loop antenna, user's manual, safety instructions, and a product registration card.

This stereo is by far the best one I or anyone I know has owned. Its dual sub-woofers really pound out the bass. It doesn't distort at max volume either. It's also super easy to use. The only real downside is the size, it is really big. If any one is looking at buying this stereo, it is well worth the pretty penny.
terrible...terrible....terrible.......

Well first of all if you like things falling off the walls this is the stereo for you. I have had near death experiences with this stereo, for instance when the car collection of my dads fell off the wall in their room (which is down the hall) and everything seemed fine (luckily), and they had no idea it was caused by their sons harmless stereo. The other bad thing is that my door rattles really bad!, it was funny for the first 15 mins and after that it was anything but funny..... The other bad thing is if you have the stereo on the same shelf as the reciever you can have a skipping problem but this is only if you have the stereo on like 25 out of 30 which is SUPRISINGLY loud, but as you can see I LOVE THIS STEREO!!!! And I relocated my speakers from next to the reciever and my tv (for it was turning blue from the magnets) so now it is fine! I do not reccomend this for your grandparents birthday! I bought mine off ebay in pieces so it only cost me 125 with shipping (the reciever was 75 and the speakers were 50) Have a great day!
THIS SYSTEM THUMPS
